  • The Boy's modified track will meet at the high school after school for practice and home meets.  On our away meets we will leave and return to the middle school so please pick up your child/children at the middle school following those meets.

  • Boys Modified Track & Field Head Coach: Leo Sladewski

    When you think or hear Wallkill Modified Track Team---two things come to mind….Success and Coach Leo Sladewski.  Coach Sladewski has coached the boys modified track team of John G. Borden Middle School for 19 years.  He gained his knowledge and expertise from coaching the Varsity Indoor Track Program for 24 years before moving onto the Modified Track and Modified Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams.  The Boys program was undefeated for well over a decade and won the presitigous West Point Modified Invitational several times in the early 2000’s.  He is a huge fan of the Modified Boys Track and Field Records and works hard to improve and add to the list every year. 

     

    Besides, coaching, Sladewski also works to put on the Lt. Mark Dooley 5K Race of Honor each spring, is a member of the Dooley Scholarship Committee, runs local 5k races for fun and charity and is an avid Boy Scout Leader.
