Trip to Lake Placid Ski Camp 2018 is Friday Jan. 26th. Sat. 27th and Sun. 28th. THE COST IS $165. Make checks out to Nick Mancuso. Coach Mancuso's cell (845) 417-4244 We will leave after school around 3 pm Fri Jan 26, We will pack all our skis after practice on Thursday. You need to make arrangements to get your luggage to school for the trip.
Friday we will drive to Glens Falls and ski there if they have snow and have dinner at Panera Bread. Students will need to bring food for the day and have money for dinner.
Then we will continue our ride for 2 more hours to Lake Placid, we are staying at Lyseks. If we are unable to ski in Glens Falls we will try to go skiing on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid at night. Later we will have time to see town. On Sat. we will ski at the 1980 Olympic site all day and have the night to explore Lake Placid. Breakfast lunch and dinner are included on Sat. and breakfast and lunch are included on Sun. On Sunday we will ski until 3pm then leave to head home. Students will need money to buy dinner on the trip home. We should get back to the HS around 8:30 pm.
Skiers should have 2 sets of ski clothes racing suits and team jackets are a MUST! Look like real skiers. Don't forget socks, hats, gloves, and boots. You need both skate and classic skis and poles. You also need street clothes, and sweats or pajamas to sleep in.
