Architectural Drafting and Design
In Architectural Drafting and Design the latest technological information, methodology, and standards relating to drafting, design, and construction have been added to each unit. Sections throughout this course offer lessons in Computer Aided Drafting(CAD), energy, structural calculations, solar planning, and site development. Other class projects will be implemented throughout each section to cover the broad range of contemporary architecture practices used today.

Electricity/Electronics
In this class student will develop a basic understanding of residential wiring and basic electronics. Students have a number of circuits to build that are live and represent how a circuit would work in real life.

Digital Photography I and II
Digital photography, as opposed to film photography, uses an electronic sensor to record the image as a piece of electronic data rather than as chemical changes on film. Digital cameras now (2005) outsell film cameras, and include features not found in film cameras such as the ability to shoot video and record audio. In this class students will develop an ability to edit pictures through the use of Photoshop 8.0 CS. A number of projects involving aspects of real world applications(see class calendar for anticipated projects)will be integrated. Students will be using a Canon Rebel EOS SLR 6.3 megapixels for all picture projects. Electronic media software programs will be used and implemented into all student projects.

Engineering Design and Development (PLTW)
Engineering Design and Development is an engineering research course in which students work in teams to research, design and construct a solution to an open-ended engineering problem. Students apply principles developed in the four preceding courses and are guided by a community mentor. Students must present progress reports, generate journal material, submit a final written report and defend their solutions in presentation form to a panel of outside reviewers at the end of the school year.
Class Sessions are held during the school day, but outside school time will be needed to fulfill requirements. .

Digital Electronics (PLTW)
Digital Electronics is acourse in applied logic that encompasses the application of electronic circuits and devices. Computer simulation software is used to design and test digital circuitry prior to the actual construction of circuits and devices.

Project Lead The Way (PLTW)
This High School Program is a four year sequence of courses which, when combined with traditional mathematics and science courses in high school, introduces students to the scope, rigor and discipline of engineering prior to entering college. However, those not intending to pursue further formal education will benefit greatly from the knowledge and logical thought processes that result from taking some or all of the courses provided in the curriculum.
